LatheCalculator is a set of free workshop calculators for model engineers and hobby machinists, written with British materials, threads and machines in mind. It is run by Lathe Calculator, a small UK-based business. You can reach us at lathecalculator@outlook.com.

Principles

• Show the working. Every result can be expanded to show the formula and numbers used.
• Say where numbers come from. Speeds are taken from published sources where possible, and anything that isn’t is marked est.
• No tracking. No analytics, no cookies, no sign-up. The pages work offline once loaded.
