How we label them

• Every affiliate link is marked “(affiliate link)” right next to it.
• Any page with an affiliate link has a short notice near the top.
• Affiliate links are tagged so search engines know they are sponsored.

Our promise

• Calculator results are never changed by affiliate relationships. The numbers come from the formulas and published sources shown.
• We only link to products we think are useful to hobby machinists. A commission never decides what we recommend.
• Brand and retailer names are used only to describe products. Lathe Calculator isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by them unless we say so here.

At present the site has no affiliate links and belongs to no affiliate programmes. Any we join will be listed here, with the wording each programme requires.

This follows the CMA and ASA (CAP Code) guidance on labelling advertising and affiliate content.
